Student Ensembles
Our ensemble program is designed for dancers who want to make dancing and performing a priority. The students have weekly technique classes and rehearsals in which they learn choreography, performance skills, stage etiquette, and performance procedures, all while developing relationships with the other dancers and teachers and enhancing their love of dance.
We strive to conduct this program much like a professional company, touring and performing throughout the St. Louis area and hosting concerts in our own studio. This excellent curriculum prepares students for great futures as college dance majors, choreographers, performers, or arts supporters.
Our ensembles have been invited to perform at National Dance Week, St. Louis Dance Festival Showcase, Loop in Motion, Wings in the City, Webster Groves Farmers Market, and with MADCO at the Touhill Performing Arts Center.
AiM Ensemble dancers have been cast in productions of Joffrey Ballet's Nutcracker and Endless Forest Nutcracker. Additionally, some have pursued dance degrees or participated in advanced level dance courses at such institutions as: Texas Christian University, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Webster University, Duke University, and Johns Hopkins University, to name a few.
—All ensemble groups perform in the Spring Concert
—Tuition is flexible (charged by the semester or monthly)
—No costumes to buy, No competitions, No makeup
