Arts in Motion is a fun environment with a fine arts-based, age appropriate philosophy that supports both excellence and a balanced approach to dance as an extracurricular activity. Professional teachers who are also professional dancers provide potent instruction, adult leadership, and a foundation for all movement.

AiM offers classes for earnest students of all ages. A strong early childhood program titled Jumpin' For Joy and Magnificent Moving Kidz is available to younger dancers and AimDance for Kidz is an enjoyable program for school aged kids -- a unique approach to dance that creates a moving experience, building smart, strong, joyful dancers who gain an understanding of movement that lasts a lifetime.

AiM also features an excellent Ensemble program for dancers who want to make dance a priority and perform. This special group of talented and committed dancers work together through September and May and perform throughout St. Louis.

At AiM: Parents are always invited to observe class. Feel free to drop by for a visit any time! Uniforms for theatre classes, or for ages 13+, aren't required. (Wear dancewear, but no midriffs, please!) Uniforms are required for dancers, ages 2 1/2 - 12. All students are invited to make up classes. An option to pay tuition in 8-week blocks is offered. Surprise costume fees aren't hidden in the cost. There are no recitals, no little ones in make-up, no expensive costumes... Instead, a final Class Showing (in uniforms) that demonstrate accomplishments. There is no change, no drama, and no chaos!
