Our Ensemble program is designed for dancers who want to make dancing and performing a priority. The students have weekly technique classes and rehearsals in which they learn challenging and varied choreography, performance skills, stage etiquette, expression, and performance procedures, all while developing relationships and forming a community with their peers.
We strive to conduct this program like a professional company, with required technique classes and rehearsals, diverse and artistic choreography, and touring and performing throughout the St. Louis area. The program and process instills commitment, a sense of responsibility, and teamwork that prepares students for life!
Our ensembles have been invited to perform at National Dance Week, St. Louis Dance Festival Showcase, Loop in Motion, Wings in the City, Webster Groves Farmers Market, Dancing in the Streets, and with MADCO at the Touhill Performing Arts Center.
AiM Ensemble students have been cast in productions by Joffrey Ballet, Moscow Ballet, Missouri Ballet Theatre, and Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company. Additionally, some have pursued dance degrees or participated in intensive dance study with SUNY Purchase, Nashville Ballet, Leverage Dance Theatre, Texas Christian University, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Webster University, Duke University, and Johns Hopkins University, to name a few.
